Geert Snoeijer was born 1968 in IJsselmuiden, The Netherlands. Following a brief carreer as a lawyer in Brussels and Amsterdam, he got a job as an assistant with creative photographer Emilio Brizzi and a year later he joined the Amsterdam journal Het Parool. Nowadays his work, which focusses on portraits and stories, is published in numerous national and international media. Geert Snoeijer is a member of the Netherlands Union of Photojournalists and is associated to The Coverstory.
